Have faith in lust,
For love is lament,
If a strong wind separates us,
Would you cast yourself away,
At the whim of a stranger?
Upon first love’s batting glance,
Our veins become one,
From the Mediterranean to Iberia,
From London to Moscow,
Whatever the distance,
Our veins cannot be undone.
They say we must learn to love like the Greeks,
If we were to love at all,
To see in one another,
A golden idol,
And offer each other’s temple,
The votive of flesh.
You proceed in darkness,
Lips anticipating words to follow,
But knowing the only language between us,
Involves touching tongues.
I held you,
A slender fluted column in my arms,
Grazed the spiral of your volutes,
How are you so beautiful?
We first met in the quarry of a night club,
Amongst the limestone crowd,
You stood out a chiseled goddess,
And I fell madly in love.
You leave on your plane,
Back to that godforsaken place,
Was it Madrid?
Was it Berlin?
I watched through the window of my third-story studio,
Many angels bound to the roofs of Praha,
Yet you managed to escape,
And I’m left to wonder,
About who you are,
About your body,
Writhing beneath the sheets,
With only a cigarette to keep me warm,
When I can’t fill myself with you.
Today I’m going to fly straight to you,
By tomorrow wake up next to you,
So much is left to be sated,
So much to be said,
From the salted tears of fey doe eyes,
To the stirring of one’s breast,
You make me feel alive.
I am what you call a red mage. I can draw, make costumes and write, but I don't excel at any particular one. I hope to one day become a polymath, someone who can master all of these arts.|
I also sometimes think I'm Rosemary from the Metal Gear Solid universe, hence why there is a gratuitous amount of pictures of me cosplaying her. I also used to think I was Tifa, but that is a long story I won't get into.
